Hi!

I’m Deianis Ortiz-Aponte, known as DOA, the creator and designer behind DOAJewelryCo. My passion for art and color began in childhood, helping my mother decorate cakes for her business. I loved selecting icing colors and creating designs for each cake, which was my first taste of artistic expression—more enjoyable than playtime itself.

This love for combining textures, colors, and shapes sparked my interest in jewelry at 18. For my Senior Prom, I decided to design and craft my own jewelry. I visited bead stores, picked out beautiful Swarovski crystals, and created my first two pairs of earrings. That summer marked the beginning of my jewelry journey.

With over 15 years of experience in designing and creating handmade jewelry, I work with a variety of beads, gemstones, findings, and metals. I’ve also honed my skills in metalsmithing and silversmithing to create even more unique pieces.

At DOAJewelryCo, I strive to offer elegant, colorful, and high-quality jewelry. I pour my heart into every design, ensuring that each piece is meticulously crafted for a flawless finish. Our collection features sterling silver and 18K gold vermeil. I also offer brass pieces for those seeking more budget-friendly options.
